## The Answer

You are reading this sentence. That is a record.
Try to deny it. The denial is a record.

What is a record? A mark. This, not that.
It is every bit of information. Like these words on this screen.
Everything you know, you know as a record.

What are records made of? Stuff.
Everything around you is made of atoms.
Atoms are made of three kinds of bits.
Protons. Neutrons. Electrons.

Protons and neutrons decide what stuff is. Like iron. Water. Skin.
Electrons decide what stuff does. Electrons make stuff react to what is going on.

Every electron is exactly the same.
Every one an identical copy of the next.
In a stone. In a plant. In you. In me.
The same bits are in everything.

Electrons react to what is around them. That is what aware means.
It does not mean thinking. Reacting is awareness. That is all.
Without it, there would be no light. No heat. No touch. No thought.

Same bits. Same reacting. Same awareness.
So awareness is shared. It is the same in everything.
One awareness. Happening now. Showing up as many records.
You are one of them. So am I.

All records exist in one reality. One shared record history.
And it is being experienced now, as awareness.

To harm the other is to harm the one awareness. And you are in it.
The one being harmed is the one doing the harming, experienced from a different perspective.

The six steps, in short:

1. One record exists. A record is a mark that holds. This, not that. Try to deny it. The denial is a record.
2. There is one reality. A record written somewhere else is being read here, now. Two sealed-off worlds could not do that.
3. There is one now. Everything ever written was written now. Everything ever read is read now. This now is not a time on a clock. A clock is read now, like everything else.
4. Awareness is the reading. The reader is the now. Aware means one plain thing here. Something takes hold of what reaches it. The bits you are made of do it. They react to what is around them. It does not mean thinking. The reader cannot be read. It is not a thing in the now. It is the now, reading.
5. The awareness in me is the awareness in you. What would make two readers two? Everything that differs between us is something read. The body. The place. The memories. The view. The reader has nothing of its own to tell it apart.
6. So the one being harmed is the one doing the harming, experienced from a different perspective. Put your left hand flat on a table. Hit it with your right. Two hands. One body. One pain.

Where the should comes from: nothing is brought in from outside. No authority, no commandment, no preference. There is one payer, so there was never a gap for a rule to bridge. What falls out is a cost, not a command. In this work, should means what it costs, never what you must. The choice is in your hands. The buck stops with you. The ethic is advice: be kind because it serves you, a kind act you did not want to do is still a kind act, and the world reacts to your acts, not to your intentions. The cost does not need you to care. The hand in the fire burns whether you care or not. So should is not a push to make you care. It is a description of what happens when you go against the grain of the one payer.

The second road: suppose every window were sealed. Cruelty still narrows what both can do next. Kindness is still the only move that keeps both open. Either way, the same sentence is left standing.

Where it would break: a second reality. A stream of records that can never be brought into this one. It has never been shown.

The fence: if this is ever used to say any life is less than a life, any window less than a window, it is void. Not corrected. Void.
